Ogłoszono kolejną edycję międzynarodowego konkursu Design Educates Awards, w którym zbierane i promowane są najlepsze pomysły i realizacje z zakresu architektury i designu. Główną ideą nagrody jest wyłonienie najciekawszych prac, które odznaczają się wartościami edukacyjnymi.
Każdego rok jury wybiera wybitne projekty i koncepcje w takich kategoriach jak: architektura, wzornictwo produktowe, universal design i responsive design.

Copenhill: Amager Bakke - Winner of the year 2020
W tegorocznej edycji konkursu Projektem Roku ogłoszono kopenhaską spalarnię odpadów Amager Bakke, która służy również jako park i stok narciarski. Projekt jest nie tylko ciekawy pod względem rozwiązań architektonicznych, ale przede wszystkim - co doceniło jury konkursu - promuje edukację ekologiczną i zachęca do zmiany myślenia na temat projektowania. Autorem koncepcji jest pracownia architektoniczna Bjarke Ingels Group.
