Przedmiotem konkursu architektonicznego jest projekt apartamentu mieszkalnego, w którym ograniczono stosowanie metod degradujących środowisko naturalne. Konkurs ma charakter koncepcyjny i nie jest realizacyjny. Jego celem jest prezentacja najciekawszych projektów mieszkań uwzględniających idee zrównoważonego rozwoju i kwestie ekologiczne.
Konkurs prowadzony jest w języku angielskim. Można wziąć w nim udział indywidualnie lub zespołowo. Obowiązują opłaty rejestracyjne
Opis oryginalny:
The sustainability factor for this project is mainly focusing on reducing the ventilation and lighting energy requirements of the residential spaces. Making the building consume less energy without compromising the standard is that aim. Other supply and waste management strategies can also be employed to reduce the footprint of the structure. (...) The comfort and convenience of the residents are to be kept in mind while cutting down on artificial technologies that have made lives easier for them. The effect of the structure on the surrounding context is as essential to be considered as its interior treatment to achieve green construction goals.

- Maksymalna pula nagród w konkursie wynosi 24.000 dolarów i uzależniona jest od liczby uczestników.
